I Never Promised You a Rose Garden.....just a GIVEAWAY!

Let's get right to it....short and sweet.   Here's all about my FREE Giveaway for April.



I love to make watercolor quilts and here's one  I made many years ago using  pre-cut 2 inch fabric squares.   I added 3 machine embroidered butterflies  fluttering around in the flowers, with the sun shining brightly over the garden.




Have you ever wanted to 'play' around with doing something like this?    Here's your chance with my Giveaway.


Here's  an example of some of the lighter two inch fabric squares that could be used to make your own watercolor quilt. 




And here's some of the darker ones.....


For my giveaway one lucky winner will receive  200 of these pre-cut 2 inch fabric squares....both light and dark.

    Your blog is listed in my favorites. I have a habit of starting quilts with a pattern and then varying. A quilt as demonstrated above is always great because it is unique. I also am a fabric junkie, so I usually will keep the small pieces left over to incorporate in another quilt, also making it unique.

    I haven't done a water color quilt yet, but it is something I'd like to try. My first exposure to one was of the cross for a church banner...I'd like to try that pattern too; it would be great to hang at EAster time.
