Just Had To!

I love snowmen and always look forward to seeing the new Christmas prints in the fabric stores with fat, happy snowmen all over them.  I don't know why, but maybe growing up in Colorado and playing in the snow has something to do with it.

Just had to buy these fabrics the other day.  Yes, I just had to!  Did I need them?  Golly no, not really.  Did I want them?  Well, sure!  Did I need more Christmas Winter type fabrics?  Definitely not!  BUT....... I just had to.........had to buy them!   Does that sound like you too?

Besides, the snowflakes blue fabric has metallic silver, and the snowmen have sparkly glitter all over them.   Just like fresh snow with the moon shining on it....all sparkly and silver!  So...'Just Had to'.......

Made a few blocks....not very big!  Don't know yet, if they'll end up as mug rugs, pot holders or in a table runner......but 'Just Had to' sew!  Just had to!

Today I'm going to finish up a table runner I started with the snowman fabric, and hope to get a couple more Christmas things going.  I've got to start sewing on some Christmas things for my family.

Oh..BTW..I hope you noticed the new AccuQuilt button on my RH sidebar.  Did you?  Just click on it to GO see the sale deals  from won't want to miss this one.

Thanks for visiting!

  1. Judy, I love that snowflake fabric. It's one of the ones I tried to get but it was out of stock. The blocks are so pretty! I was going to make a table runner, but they will be beautiful whatever way you use them. : )

  2. I grew up in Colorado, too! Those are pretty fabrics, I love blue and silver for my winter decorating.

  3. I bought the one on the left, too, the snowflake print. I love snowmen and snowflakes, too. Have fun, whatever you decide.

  4. I love snowmen and snowflakes too, but usually only if they are done in blue and sparkles makes them even better.

  5. Hi All,.. I am creating a website for overseas students who are in Australia and the
ones who are thinking of applying a student visa to Australia.
(fyi, website will be from your language)... I
have discovered a PDF file about the Australian Embassy website advising how to apply
those main visas and application procedure, etc .

I think this info is quite useful to for most people and that i make
this info available on my website. Copyright is a only concerned right now.
.. Merely just copy the whole article "without" making any amendments, including make
sure to reference all details where it from etc plus the
url to the Australian embassy website... Would this be illegal?
    .. Many thanks..

  9. I've been surfing online more than three hours today, yet I never found any interesting article like yours. It is pretty worth enough for me. In my view, if all site owners and bloggers made good content as you did, the net will be much more useful than ever before.
