Today I AM CELEBRATING 2 years since I quit smoking! So, I'm celebrating by playing with fabrics; looking at my fabrics, feeling my fabrics, folding my fabrics, cutting some fabrics.....dreaming of what I can do with them...planning projects...making lists.

Here's some pics. of the ones I've been playing with so far...

Any day we play with fabric is a GREAT DAY to celebrate being alive!
AND......what are you doing today to CELEBRATE being alive??

  1. Congratulations!! What a wonderful colorful way to celebrate. TTFN ~Marydon

  2. I celebrated a bit by sewing the last section of a quilt as you go quilt together. All it lacks is binding! yayyy. It is so good to be alive.

  3. Congrats and what a wonderful way to celebrate!

  4. Congratulations! I'm off to play with fabric today too! It is indeed a great day to be alive!!

  5. Congratulations!
I am reading blogs at the moment, Yours is very inspirational, well done! then i hope to get some sewing done this afternoon and blogging myself!

  6. Well done on the 2 years!
I have not smoked for 20 now! Phew, that's a long time.
    I love my fabrics too...

  7. Fantastic. I know how difficult it is. I gave up 5 and a half years ago. The upside is,I could afford more fabric!!!!!

  8. Good for you ! What lovely fabric to cheer you on .

  9. Congrats Judy. You are strong lady and now my inspiration.

I am still fighting the habit. I got a new gadget called and electronic cigarette. There is no smoke and now chemicals, only nicotine. You step down a nicotine strength as you feel you can. This way I do not have to go outside, hubby is not fusing about the smell and hopefully I can make the leap to smoke free completely.
